INTRODUCTION 

This kit provides a camshaft and roller lifter solution for a Ford Flathead V8.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

  • 1 x Camshaft

    • Style: Early Flathead - no side distributor drive on front

    • Material: 5160 Induction Hardened Steel

    • Profile: custom available

    • Front Drive: fits standard flathead timing gear

  • 16 x Jesel Roller lifters

    • Diameter: 1”

    • Roller Size: 0.900”

  • 16 x Lifter Adjusters

    • Material: steel

  • 1 x Camshaft Bearing Set

    • Type: Clevite SH-718S

MACHINING TO BE DONE BY EXPERIENCED MACHINE SHOP:

  • 1) Larger cam tunnel must be bored in your flathead block

  • 2) Keyways must be machined in each lifter bore of your flathead

  • 3) Cam bearings narrowed to suit flathead block

NOTES:

  • 1) Not included: Rear camshaft gear (tbc), timing gear, distributor, valve gear etc
